Materials
18k Gold
The creation of our jewelry begins with the purchase of gold in its purest state, 24-carat gold. Gold in this state is a material that is too soft and malleable, which makes it impossible to use in jewelry. Because of this, it needs to be alloyed with silver and copper to turn it into 18-karat gold.
The gold alloy is made through a smelting process, in which the metals (gold, silver and copper) combine their properties to become 18k gold, which is also known as international grade gold. The advantages of working with this purity of gold are the following:
1. Gold is more rigid and resists wear, stretching or distortions
2. Different colors can be obtained when mixed with other materials (white gold and rose gold), which gives us the possibility of obtaining jewelry with a more personalized aesthetic.
Precious Stones
Precious stones are rocks or minerals that, when cut and polished, can be used to make jewelry. There are 4 precious stones: emerald, sapphire, ruby and diamond
Semi-precious Stones
Semi-precious stones are also present in our jewelry. Among these stones are: amethyst, quartz, lapis lazuli, pearl, peridot, topaz and many more.
